We do not use a membrane and multiply the ion exchange at the same time through 3D optimization of the interface of both electrolytes. 

This reduces the costs and at the same time increases the efficiency. Our approach is not limited to one cell chemistry, but can be used as a platform technology for a wide variety of electrolytes.
