\u201cSwitzerland is probably the only country in the world where a national public debate was held about the circular economy, during the 2016 vote on the Green Economy Initiative,\u201d explains Ad\u00e8le Thorens at the outset. \u201cEven though the initiative was not accepted, the process laid the groundwork for collective awareness that ultimately bore fruit.\u201d <\/span> <\/span><\/p>
