The SGES is the most comprehensive conference on business and sustainability in Switzerland and is taking place for the 13th time under the motto “Cast off for sustainability”. Two and a half days, 2000 motivated participants, 250 top-class speakers, two main programs, 16 innovation forums and company visits on site.
Since 2013, the Swiss Green Economy Symposium has been using concrete examples to show how cooperation between business, politics, science and NGOs can contribute to greater prosperity, environmental protection and a more peaceful coexistence. Solutions are discussed and recipes for success shared. The symposium inspires its participants – decision-makers, implementers and innovators – to take concrete action.
The SGES starts on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, with the SGEXperience (company visits). Various companies from Winterthur will open their doors to participants and present their efforts for a more sustainable future.
On Wednesday, 3 September 2025 and Thursday, 4 September 2025, the main program will take place in the morning and there will be 16 innovation forums to choose from in the afternoon. High-profile experts will discuss important issues in areas such as health, energy, mobility, construction, circular economy, biodiversity, food, climate, smart cities and supply chains and answer questions from the audience.
