Swiss small hydro installations
Since 1993, Mhylab has been developing high-performance turbines adapted to the needs of small hydroelectric power plants. A team of four highly qualified employees are working in the premises in Montcherand (VD) to satisfy the demands of national and international customers.
In addition to its know-how in the field of hydraulic turbine design, the Vaud-based SME has developed its engineering and expertise activities. It thus accompanies its customers throughout their project, from the feasibility study and preliminary design, to the design and commissioning of the installation. Over the years, it has been able to differentiate itself and acquire customers in the four corners of the globe: indeed, its skills have attracted customers in Brazil, Central Africa or Japan, to name just a few countries. Also, the company Mhylab has at heart to transmit its knowledge and make more visible the issues related to small hydro. For several years now, it has been offering various training courses, particularly for technical schools or professional associations.
