Shaping the future of energy means, first and foremost, facing today’s realities head-on. With this in mind, the “Energiezukunft meets Energy Startup Day 2026” conference, to be held on November 19, will highlight the key challenges of the energy transition. And we are proud to be partners in this event.
Under the slogan “30 startups. 8 drivers. One energy future,” renowned experts will address key topics such as new technologies, industrial policy, security of supply, costs, geopolitical dependencies, and societal acceptance. Special attention will be given to the resurgence of the debate on nuclear energy as well as to China’s role in the energy transition.
The day will begin with a keynote address by LONGi Solar, the world’s leading manufacturer of solar panels, as well as a presentation on investment models for large-scale battery storage systems.
Three pitch sessions featuring 30 startups will then highlight innovations spanning the entire spectrum of energy technologies. The program will also address topics such as solar power plants in the Alps, agrivoltaics, next-generation reactor technologies, the economic challenges of nuclear energy, and the role of data, algorithms, and artificial intelligence in energy systems.
The conference will conclude with a case study from energieUri, the only Swiss energy provider simultaneously developing projects in the fields of hydropower, wind power, solar power, and energy storage.
